1. Product description
1.1 Brief introduction
APF is a kind of power electrical device. Its fundamental is to detect harmonic current from compensation object, then generate anti-harmonic compensation current, only leave the fundamental current in power system. APF device attracts a lot of attention. This device is an ideal device to prevent power grid “pollution” and improve power quality and save energy.

3. Technical features
APF series active power filter reached international advanced technology level. It can meet city power grid reform requirements. It provide standard 3 phase symmetry sine voltage, compensates large capacity reactive power, harmonic current and negative-sequence current, lowers line loss.

4. Technical parameters
4.1 working principle
4.1.1 APF series active power filter is parallel with system, real-time monitoring the harmonic and reactive component of load, using PWM conversion technology, inject current, which is equile to the harmonic and reactive component in value, reversed in direction, to power distribution system and realize the functions of harmonic filteration and dynamic reactive compensation.
Figure 1 is schematic diagram of APF series parallel active power filter, APF can be called arbitrary wave generator, or controllable non-linear components. APF can compensate any harmonic current.

Auxiliary code: 3P-3 phase 3 line, 4P-3 phase 4 line
Example: Type APF1-100/0.4-3P, shows the APF is applicable for 0.4 kV 3-phase 3 line power grid, compensation current is 100A.

5. Ordering instructions
For better active power filtration effort, the rated capacity of APF should be determined according to actual power grid conditions. Therefore the harmonic current total valid value or specified harmonic current valid value data should be provided before ordering.
