1. General
1.1 Brief introduction
GCS type low voltage complete set switch device is low voltage complete set switch devices is researched and developed according to the develop trend of Chinese low voltage switch cabinet by our company after improvement in electrical components and cabinet structure selection. It is a series of modular and multiple functional low voltage power distribution cabinet which can meet various requirements of users.
This low-voltage switch gear is in accord with GB7251-1991 and JB/T9661.
1.2 Application range
GCS type low voltage withdrawable switch cabinet (hereinafter referred to as device ) is suitable for power distribution system of power plant, oil, chemical, metallurgy, building materials, textile and other industries. It is used in large power plant, petrochemical and other places with high degree of automation and computer port as 3 phase AC low voltage complete set power distribution devices with 50(60) Hz, rated voltage 380V(400)(660), rated current less than 4000A for power distribution, motor center control and reactive power compensation of power distribution system.
1.3 Technical features:
■ Increase the heat capacity of connector, sharply decrease the additional heat rise of connector plug and socket, cable end, space plate caused by the heat rise of connector.
■ The separation between function units, between compartments is clear and reliable. The fault of one unit will not affect other units which can keep the fault in the minimum range.
■ Horizontal bus bar layout ensures the good kinetic energy and heat stability of device. It ensures the device can withstand 80/176KA short-circuit current impulse.
■ The maximum circuit number of single MCC cabinet is 22. It can meet the requirements of large single motor in power plant and petrochemical industries.
■ The connection between device and external cable should be in the cable compartment. The cable can be entered from both top and bottom. Zero sequence current transformer is placed in cable compartment for easy installation and maintenance.
■ Power distribution system for same power supply can restrict the short-time current by current limiting reactor to stabilize the bus bar at certain value and decrease the requirements to components short-circuit strength.
■ The quantity of secondary connector in the withdrawable unit (20 pairs in 1/2 unit, 32 pairs for 1 unit and more) can meet the requirements of computer port and self control circuit.

3. Service condition
■ Ambient air temperature maximum +40℃, minimum -5℃, 24 hours average temperature maximum +35℃.
■ air clean, relative humidity maximum 50% in temperature +40℃, in lower temperature more relative humidity is allowed, for example 90% in +20℃. Considering temperature change, occasional condensation is possible.
■ Maximum altitude 2000m
■ Pollution grade level 3.
■ Storage and transport: between -25℃ and 55℃. In short time (no more than 24 hours) +70℃.
■ Under these conditions device should not be unreconverably damaged. In normal conditions it should work properly.
■ If above-mentioned service conditions can not be met, user shall communicate with manufacturer.
