To solve the localization and technical service problem of large synchronous motor frequency converting soft start, Wuhan Iron & Steel Group cooperated with Big Pawer electrical technology Xiangyang Inc., Ltd. to set up a project to do localized technical reform to existing 1# motor set in No. 2 blower station. With Big Pawer’s SFC high voltage synchronous frequency converting soft starter device, the starting power has reached 50,000kw. Certified by Hubei Province science and technology agency, it has independent intellectual property. Its technology is initiative in China and advanced level in the world. Some technical indexes have reached international leading level. Its technology is leading the whole soft starter branch in China.
